Hello once again, coffee fans in Chicago!
Last week, we wrote about the best coffee shops in Lakeview. This week, we’re moving a few blocks north into Andersonville to find out which coffee shops are the highest-rated and most reviewed by customers.
We’re the Ben Lalez Team, an award-winning real estate team with an office close by in Bucktown. Every day we’re out and about in Chicago, meeting buyers and sellers and talking about real estate in the city.
Having solid coffee shops is important to us (it feels like life or death on some mornings), and we wanted to share some of the best places that are in every neighborhood.
In this article, we’ll cover the 6 top-rated coffee shops in Andersonville, and one extra place you can get food and a good cup of coffee.
How We Chose These Cafes
We focused on local, independent spots (with a couple of exceptions) and only included shops that have:
- A Google rating of 4.5★ or higher
- A minimum of 100 reviews
- Something unique (the coffee, the vibe, or the community)
We have ranked them based on overall Google rating and the number of verified reviews as of January 2026.

Final Thoughts
For those of you who are asking for Starbucks, we didn’t include it because it didn’t meet our minimum rating requirement. But if we missed any coffee shops you think belong on this list, let us know and we’ll be glad to add them!
And if you’re thinking about moving in or out of Andersonville and need to speak to real estate experts who can give you the crucial insights you need to make it a successful move, we’re not too far away.
